Both Victor & Matt were extremely knowledgeable of the local area, the trail, the environment (plants & animals) as well as being good fun to spend time with. It was impressive that the food was fresh throughout the trip, deliciously cooked & it catered for vegetarian and gluten free diets within the group. Our bedding was warm & comfortable and we are already looking forward to returning to Tassie!

We also operate the most comprehensive range of adventure holidays available across Tasmania, from the idyllic Bay of Fires to the alpine challenge of the Western Arthurs, the classic Overland Track and the mighty Franklin River.
We were the first operator of bushwalks on the legendary Overland Track in 1968 (as Craclair), the we pioneered the first descent of the Franklin River in commercial whitewater rafts in 1978 (as Australian Himalayan Expeditions, now World Expeditions) River. Tasmanian Expeditions pioneered commercial trekking on the South Coast Track and the Walls of Jerusalem. In recent years Tasmanian Expeditions has been the first to develop commercial treks in to the Frenchman's Cap and the Western Arthurs and our newest trek, the Coast to Cradle trail.
