The trip was amazing all round. We had a great group of people and the weather could not have been better. I was truly impressed with the guides and their passion for Tasmania. What a wonderful way to become acquainted with the majesty of the Tasmanian highlands. Your guides are passionate about this trip and eager to share its charm with you.
The trip begins in Launceston, followed by a scenic drive to Cradle Mountain where we settle into cabins nestled in the forest on the edge of Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park.
From this base we undertake day walks to discover the surrounding alpine plateaus, dramatic glacially carved lakes and, given the opportunity, we attempt to summit Cradle Mountain.
On the third day of the trip we travel to the upper Mersey Valley & the Walls of Jerusalem National Park.
