With scenic well graded roads, Tasmania is ideally suited to cycling holidays. On these well crafted itineraries, cyclists will cover a greater area than by just trekking alone. A support vehicle is on hand for riders and comfortable accommodation awaits as the sun sets behind the mountains.

Tasmanian Expeditions looks after all the equipment and logistics. All you need to do is enjoy the ride. Included are:

    These adventures involve trekking, cycling, rafting or sea kayaking for up to 6 or 7 hours a day at a steady pace. You will need a good level of fitness and be in good health. Carrying a full bushwalking pack up to 15kg may be required.
    * Suggested preparation: 45 minutes of aerobic type exercise, three to five times a week. Hill walking with a pack in variable weather conditions, kayaking or road cycling is also recommended depending upon the activity you plan to undertake.
