We require travel insurance to ensure our participants have adequate protection for cancellation costs if they are unable to participate in a trip, or must leave a trip, due to unforeseen circumstances. 

We find that most Australian and Permanent Resident participant’s Medicare or private health funds adequately cover them for medical and evacuation expenses, but if you have any doubts we recommend you check this with your provider.
